The Real Titanic: 22 Rare Pictures Of The Liner Which Give Chill And Thrill

They never thought it would sink! The massive and solid liner was the biggest at that time. It was constructed by the most talented experts in the field and became a major breakthrough in shipbuilding. The Titanic gathered a huge crowd of onlookers on the day of its first voyage from Southampton on 10 April 1912. Yet, this British liner sank in the Atlantic Ocean, taking along more than 1,500 lives.

These photos give chills! People felt honored to be onboard the biggest liner in history! They could have never known twhat was ahead. 

The Titanic tragedy was commemorated multiple times by the opening of museums, works of fiction, non-fiction texts, and several ways in which tribute was paid to the victims.

The great ship was called unsinkable, but its wreck is buried at the bottom of the ocean now.
