The Recipe Of The Week: Quick & Easy Fruit Pie

Please your family with quick and easy recipe of a fruit cake! Time is precious and you will not have to spend much time at the kitchen! It is healthy, looks amazing and tastes delicious - a perfect combination.

This is what you will need for quick & easy fruit pie:

250 g flour (8.4 oz)

2 tbsp lemon juice

3/4 cup sugar

5 tbsp vegetable oil

160 ml water (5.4 oz)

1 medium-sized apple

200 g dried fruit mix (raisins, dates, dried apricots) (7 oz)

a handful of sunflower seeds

1 tsp soda

2 tbsp brown sugar.

This is what you do:

1. Core and cut up the apple, blend it with water in a blender. Pour the apple pureé into a mixing bowl.

2. Mix sugar and oil into the pureé. Slake soda with lemon juice and add to the mixture. Stir in sieved flour.

3. Mix dried fruit and seeds into the dough. Pour into a cake mold, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 60-70 minutes at 200°C (390°F).

4. Cool down before serving.
